Has served as a board member of the National Association for Museum Exhibition, The Texas Association of Museums and has been a speaker for association meetings and workshops on museum planning, interpretation, exhibit design and accessibility
From 1998 – 2001 as part of the Texas State History museum’s planning team, oversaw: 1) the development of 34,000 square feet of permanent exhibits featuring over 700 artifacts; 2) eighteen media programs in the exhibit areas; 3) the first temporary exhibition for the 7,000 square foot exhibit hall; 4) the Texas Spirit Theater, a 200-seat venue boasts three screens, three dimensional sets, and several thrilling special effects; and 5) the planning of the museum’s Imax Theater.
